Dean A. Christiansen
Principal
Mr. Christiansen is a founding shareholder and Principal of Acacia since its formation in 1990. In addition, from August of 2004 through July 2008, he served as new business development officer for Capital Markets Engineering and Trading LLC, with duties that included sales efforts related to securities financing and cash investment transactions by way of repurchase agreements on behalf of CMET’s affiliate, South Street Securities LLC. Mr. Christiansen continues to represent South Street in repo sales and portfolio development. Also, from October 2000 to July 2003, he served as President of Lord Securities Corporation, a leading provider of third-party financial services in support of asset securitization and structured finance transactions through conduit administration, independent governance services, and special purpose entity ownership and management. Previous career experience includes leveraged buyout and corporate finance experience at Weatherly Private Capital, New York, NY, asset management duties while at Bankers Trust Company, New York, NY, retail financial sales experience in Phoenix, AZ, and off-shore drilling work in the Gulf of Mexico as a roustabout and roughneck for Zapata Off-shore Company while on leave of absence from The University of Notre Dame.

In addition to his participation with the boards of the Acacia affiliated companies, he served on the operating board of CMET Finance Holdings, Inc. of New York, NY (the ultimate parent of South Street Securities LLC) from 1998 through 2014, and PPL Electric Utilities Corporation of Allentown, PA. He also serves on the boards of Structural Concepts Corporation, Muskegon, MI, the Vladimir Nielsen Foundation of Sag Harbor, NY, and Celebrity Fight Night International. The son of missionary parents, Mr. Christiansen was raised in what was then Rhodesia, Africa.
